SYNERGY SALSA BACHATA COMPETITION 2009
We were once again very proud of our students as they took the initiative and entered a group in Synergy Salsa's Bachata competition 2009 at the Brunswick Town Hall.
Competing against some very good professional teams, 3 couples from our Bachata performance team from the Salsa Foundation 1st Birthday Performance performed a slightly modifed version of the same routine that they blitzed a few weeks earlier.
Syed, Leilani, Stezzy, Jayesh, Shah and Lee did a great job, we were very proud of them and the crowd was really impressed with how well they did, especially considering that some of them had been dancing Bachata for less than 2 months!

This tragedy has seen over 100,000 people lose their lives, and leave countless homeless.One of our goals at The Salsa Foundation is to help various worthy causes by raising money and awareness. We feel privileged to be able to participate in Salsa Dancing every day, and to use it to help some really worthy causes.Join us at our FREE Salsa Dance classes on Wednesdays and Thursdays (530pm) at Syn Bar.

5 Minute Salsa Crash Courses _ Melbourne Uni Orientation Day!
Had an absolute blast at Melbourne University's Orientation Day...they invited us to do 5 minute salsa classes, teaching new Melbourne Uni students how to salsa in 5 minutes or less!In the 2 hours we were there, we taught over 130 students the basics, and we're proud to say we feel like we did our bit to help create more salsa addicts!Highlight of the day would have to be when we ran into the Nando's chicken! Ange had a salsa dance with the bird too!
