The reason why we do our free salsa classes is to introduce as many new people as possible to Salsa Dancing. We love having new people come to us to try Salsa for the first time. And we think it works! With over 4,000 people coming to us for their first “Salsa Experience”, we’ve
had the honor of seeing their faces
light up the first time they successfully
complete a “salsa basic step” and a
“Cucaracha”!
Our beginners classes are absolutely
free, and you can come as many times
as you like!
Yes, we do ask you to reserve your place, for a couple of reasons:

1.It helps us to balance the male to female ratio as much as possible

2.The classes do get busy at times, and we can have anywhere between 30-70 people attending any one class!

3.So we can reply and confirm your spot, ensuring you have the correct times, dates and address for the booking

The venue features a huge beautiful main dance floor and a second separate floor, free wi-fi, and on occasion, we have a BBQ as well!

As you may be able to see from the photos, our FREE BEGINNERS SALSA CLASSES are design to teach the absolute basic steps (perhaps the first 3-4 steps you need) in the most fun, no-pressure, social environment.
Our FREE Salsa classes always cover these first few steps, as we have plenty of new people coming to try salsa for their first time, every week.
The FREE Salsa Class is a great way to learn the absolute basics at your own pace, as you can come as many times as you like; it’s always FREE!

There are plenty of other Salsa Dance schools out there. And if you wanted to learn salsa, we’re pretty sure that most of them could teach you how to dance very, very well.
But our focus is not all about the dancing. We focus on the people. Our main priority is to create an environment where people like you can meet other people, do something social and active, and form friendships that you may never have had the chance to form otherwise.
We focus on the fun, because that’s what Salsa Dancing is about. That’s why you won’t read about what dance competition titles we’ve won (even though our instructors have won plenty)...Because chances are, you don’t really care about the glittery outfits, the politics and the stress of all that.
If you just want to have fun, around a great bunch of people, then this is the place for you! If not, then we wish you the best of luck wherever you end up! :)
More than just a dance class: I would highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to learn Salsa. Angela and Jai really make an effort to remember your name which brings a special personalisation to the classes. The atmosphere that has developed is a friendly and encouraging one; more like a community of dancers rather than a class. If you want to try out Salsa this is the best place; why not beginners is FREE!

The Salsa classes are a lot of fun. Friendly atmosphere, supportive instructors (Trust me guys,Angela is the best Salsa instructor in Australia!) - and most importanty - it is not nothing like school or uni classes where you got to stress yourself while learning. It is all about fun! The Salsa Foundation not only helped me to learn how to dance but also gave me a chance to make many new friends.

So relaxed, welcoming and friendly, it is a place for EVERYONE to learn salsa! And why wouldn't you, with such lovely instructors, a great venue and friendly classmates! Supportive and encouraging, you are instantly comfortable and leave after an hour feeling as though you are far more than a beginner dancer!
